HOW WE MAKE OUR HANDCRAFTED MEAD
We use traditional methods to create our exceptional mead in small batches. What does this really mean? It means we keep things simple – like it used to be.
We take natural raw honey from a single supplier and we add water, a bit of yeast and that’s it. Sometimes we add barley or fruit but we’ll tell you about it on the label.
Working in small batches preserves the character of honey in every brew and helps us maintain high quality throughout.
We are passionate about our mead, and have been way before we started DK Mead. We can’t wait for you to try it.

QUALITY RAW INGREDIENTS
We only use raw honey which has been through a coarse filter to separate out bits of bees wax and pollen. Direct from the beehive and into our mead.
SUPPORTING INDEPENDENT SUPPLIERS
We prefer to work with small, independent and local providers that use sustainable methods.
NO SWEETENERS or PRESERVATIVES
We don’t add sulphites or other preservatives. No additives to extend shelf life, or sweeteners.
